- Hi, my name is Niki and I'm a Grounded Drink Lady. In other words, I'm a Flight Attendant on a year leave to care for my two sons. Mr. T is five and Poppy is 11 months. The Husb has his own Law Firm...boy you should hear some stories about crazy clients!!! I'd like to think I'm grounded cause I'm one with myself. Ok, I'm full of it and don't like to take crap off of others. I'm oh so nice about it though. These are my musings...some boring some not. Join in and follow along my friends! yeah, 40 is a major speed bump. sorry...i got nothin' uplifting to say. just know that i feel your pain. ;)
Oh, I'd play my miniature violin, but it is in the shop getting tuned up for me...and, I'm over that 40 hump, and my tears dried up with menopause.
I'll 30 in a month and I'm not too thrilled either.
i just turned 30. i had to fill out a form last weekend and for the first time had to fill out my age as 'not a 20 something'. it was brutal--do not attempt without liquor...or a gun. your choice.

Love my 40's. It's very liberating not to give a crap what anyone thinks anymore. Your birthday gift when you turn 40 is a confidence like you've never had before. Go ahead, try it on. I'll wait. . . See? It fits great and it looks super on you. Enjoy it. Own it. Have fun!
You guys are soooooo nice! Thanks for the well wishes and smartass comments! I'll be great at 40...the only problem is it's hard to lie to friends you've had for 20 years!!!
